Spring 2016 Shirts: trends and materials during Spring

Shirts have always been a ‘must’ during Spring and Summer. In view of Spring 2016, what are the last trends in fashion and which are the privileged materials?

From clothing item preferred by businesswomen to an outfit chosen for its suitability to every kind of occasion. Let’s find out what are the highlights for next Spring and Summer for shirts with the proposals of Spring 2016.

A true classic for those who love this clothing item is represented by the total white shirt that can be adapted to every need from an easy look for informal occasions – perhaps accompanied by the traditional jeans – to the combination with important skirts for absolutely more sophisticated outfits.

Among the most favorite materials for Spring 2016 a key role is played by cotton for shirts in their basic version (pointed collar like in the ‘70s or a more discrete collar according to the needs and the personalities of those who wear them) and by denim for a more original style. As for the latter, green light for embroidery, contrasts and strokes of colors recalling Stella McCartney’s style.

Silk is going to live again also in Spring 2016 matched with a retro style that uses floral prints.

But there is not only the evergreen model: the shirts designed for Spring 2006 will also surprise for their necklines à la Bardot such as those proposed by Tibi recalling the last year Spring/Summer fashion with their off-shoulder effect.

Finally, lace and soft colors, like antique pink, will decorate shirts based on a more romantic note, which is very fashionable in these days.

The new models of shirts by Jonathan Saunders come from England and present their tunic-style to be worn on skirts or trousers. Their peculiarity is the waist fastening and their floral decorations.

In the domain of made in Italy, Loro Piana proposes a variation based on asymmetrical lines that plays with the mix of colors, while the Spring 2016 collection signed by Dion Lee highlights the black with a cutout style on the shoulders.
