Milan, the capital of fashion in Italy and forerunner of new trends for next season, proposed during the last runway shows the “must haves”for Fall/Winter 2016-2017 as regards accessories, focusing particularly on the female accessory par excellence: the bag.
From shoulder bags to pursues, the major national and international maisons delineated the latest trends anticipated in their creations where style, elegance and a little bit of originality ruled the rust.
An unmissable must have for next season has been proposed by the Italian company Dsquared2, that presented two bags in one exploiting geometrical and minimal dimensions and aiming at helping women to find easily everything they put in their bags. The two bags are connected by a shoulder strap; on the other hand, the smallest bag could be worn even separately together with a night outfit. The new collection for fashion accessories by Ferragamo is characterized by the classic Boston bag which reminds the Sixties, enriched with a striped shoulder strap.
The fil rouge of Fall/Winter 2016-2017 will be represented by the minimal style, as it emerged also by Marni’s new collection proposing a squared bag with three shoulder straps according to the use women want to do: a short wide mesh chain to wear it as an handbag; a longer and thinner chain to be worn on a shoulder; and, finally, a leather strip to use as shoulder strap. The “mini” proposal by Aigner takes the look of a fanny pack to be integrated perfectly with the style proposed.
The new bag realized by Etro seems to be different from the models proposed so far, for it is rigorously realized in black leather and takes the form of a handbag. What characterizes it is the unusual flattened bucket-like shape.
The lovers of maxi bags would find irresistible the new collection by Sportmax that bets on a flat crescent-shaped bag which fits perfectly to the body. On the other hand, N° 21 presents an extra large backpack to be worn even at night for it is made of black satin and matched with longuette and top with lace and strass.
As far as colors are concerned, Blumarine bets on pastel shades by proposing a sky blue bag; on the other hand, orange is the nuance chosen by Bottega Veneta for its “double bag”.
